I own a pub in Colorado Springs, open less than a month. We spent over $6,000 at this store. Less than a month later our tables are so warped and un-level that they aren't even flat. The screws holding them to the bases broke from warping! Since we haven't had them long, we thought they would help us. We called, they sent out a tech to come look at them. soon after, we received a call from the customer service manager. She told us that we have been wiping them down wrong, and it is our own fault. A spray bottle and a rag should NOT cause this much damage.NO instructions got delivered with these tables for proper cleaning. After calling the corporate office and being connected to Paula, she told us the exact same thing. It must be the policy to treat their customers like children. How sad, a company that makes MILLIONS of dollars a year, wont help out a business that spent $6,000 with them. Way to support local business American Furniture Warehouse! ...read more

Why French Country?
Why French Country? Bonjour!I was so fortunate to have gown up in a community in New York that was rich in culture. Being close to Canada, my school district firmly believed that the students could only benefit from being bi-lingual, with French as our second language. So at the ripe age of 9, I began my French Language studies that would continue on for the next 5 1/2 years. And you will never, ever, ever hear me say "Walla"! LOL Though having never visited France, I've always had an attachment to this romantically magical place that fills so many of our fantasies. Marrying my love of France and all things French, with my love of "picking, enables me to bring you the selection of goods you will find here at "French Country Goods". As I scour the country for the finds that I bring you, I concentrate mostly on this decor "style". I've also noticed that French Country decor can easily be intertwined with "Shabby Chic" decor, so I offer you both on this site (just TRY to tell the difference!) so that you and I can bring the essence of that romance into our own homes.
