Frustrated because it was going to take a month to get into to see our regular eye doctor, my husband decided to give One Hour Optical a try. The doctor gave him a thorough exam and diagnosed a complex issue, referring him to an eye surgery center for treatment. We were impressed with the care given by the doctor and genuine care shown by her and the staff. With the surgery, my husband no longer needs glasses, but we have moved our family's eye care to One Hour Optical as a result of the great care he received. We have purchased a total of three pairs of glasses from this location and have enjoyed the variety of stylish and affordable frames and the assistance we received in picking out the right frames. When I arrived at One Hour Optical there was no one in the store. I was given a form to fill out for my insurance and by the time I was done, several others had come into the store. I stood around for 20 minutes while the whole staff and this group seemed to have a family reunion with everyone joking, laughing and ignoring me... their customer. I was finally acknowledged and, although I showed them an existing pair of glasses that I was trying to duplicate, I was waved to their frame displays with no assistance to try and find something similar - don't they KNOW their own stock??? I finally found something and they took my order, but I had to remind them to measure my eyes so that the lenses would fit correctly. The woman who waited on my giggled and said "Yeah... I guess I should do that, huh?" My glasses were promised for Oct 8th. It is the 11th and I finally called them only to be given several excuses why they weren't done. Terrible experience! If you need to replace the lenses in your glasses, do so carefully to keep your glasses in good condition. To replace lenses, remove the screws from your frames and push out the lenses.
