Here goes my first ever negativity-free review: Atlantic Locksmith Store was nothing short of perfect, and being the insane critic that I am, it stumped me when I came to realize that Atlantic Locksmith Store just didn’t have any flaws. Right from the rep who answered my call to the guy, David, who came over to get copy keys made, these guys were complete professionals. He came with a full set of tools and had a wide range of key blanks loaded up in his van. It only took him fifteen minutes to get the job done… Great service, flat rates, skilled team! Right when I thought it couldn’t get any better, David mentioned that I could get a discount if I produced a coupon that could be found on their site http://www.Seattle.Neighborhood-Locksmith-Store.com! I was recently involved in a hit-and-run car accident that resulted in my vehicle rolling over, then landing on its wheels in the median. The State Trooper called Marv's to have my vehicle towed. \t\n\t\nTo be fair, the driver was very friendly, and was incredibly patient with me and my wife considering our state of shock. The "quality service" ended there. \t\n\t\nWe were soon stuck with a $650 bill which we had to pay in cash in order to get access to our vehicle. The bill included a $200 "rollover fee". When we questioned the fee, we received several different reasons for the charge - each of which we successfully disputed. The final reason was that the Colorado State Patrol mandates the fee, and we should "take it up with them". \t\n\t\nAfter we paid the ransom and got our vehicle back, a quick call to the State Patrol revealed that the receptionist at Marv's lied about this. \t\n\t\nAfter filing a complaint with the BBB, Marv's basically gave us the finger. They have our money, and the car is gone, so what do they care? We were told that it was our fault for losing control of our vehicle, and that we endangered the life of their tow truck driver who had to be out there in the dark and the cold to do his job. Wow. \t\n\t\nI understand that there are costs involved in recovering a wrecked vehicle, and that Marv's has bills to pay. I would have been fine with their fees if they were justified. But in the end, the "rollover fee" was never substantiated. It may as well have been a "red car" fee - that would have been just as fair! \t\n\t\nThe initial service at Marv's is good. Their drivers are friendly and are capable of successfully towing a wrecked vehicle across town. But don't expect to be treated (or charged) fairly once they've got your vehicle in their lot. ...read more
