So, I stopped here on my lunch break on Thursday. The parking lot wasn't actually as packed as I've seen it before, but the store was still really crowded. I headed down the frozen food aisle after going through the produce section. In both areas, the prices were very high, about double what King Soopers charges for the same frozen dinners. I ended up thinking I would just leave but decided not to bypass the shrimp spring rolls at $5.50 for two with peanut sauce. At the checkout counter, the clerk rang me up twice. While waiting for the refund two people abandoned the line--it did take a while. In the end, though, she gave me the spring rolls for free. That was nice. They were not good spring rolls, though. The noodles had been oversoaked and were huge and mushy, and the rice paper around the rolls was super soggy on the bottom. For some reason, the peanut sauce seems to have vinegar in it, too. I don't know who makes the spring rolls, but they need better instructions. Overall, happy I didn't pay for the wet mess. ----------------------- Update: Though it seemed I had gotten a refund, I never actually did. So I paid twice for the disgusting spring rolls. When I called and told them what happened, I was told that I could come back into the customer service desk and get a refund for one spring roll charge--not even what I was told I was getting when I was supposed to have gotten a refund but also having to come back into the store. The quality and formulations of Wishgarden Herbs herbal tinctures are among the best I've found! I can't think of any that I like better, and I've used quite a few over the years.
