Tinyminders Day Care-Preschool

We had to pull our 18 month old out of the Toddler 1 class due to gross negligence by the staff here. Basic minimum care was not performed and we no longer felt it was safe or healthy for our son to attend this facility. My child in the toddler 1 room was often unsupervised, didn't get his diaper changed, was left outside without proper clothing in cold temperatures, and didn't have the right ratio of teachers to students when dropping in unexpectedly. Avoid at all costs. ...read more

First off, I want to say I'm writing a review of Tiny Minders North, the branch on Iris Ave. We had our 2 yr old in Tod 2 there and we were so happy with everything! I really liked that the Director and Asst Dir were so open and friendly and just easy to get in touch with and talk to. Love that the Dir sends out weekly emails with a little status update of everything and that they have a music lady come in once a week. The classrooms are neat and clean and the whole facility is very well maintained. That was a big deal for me. We absolutely loved the current teachers in Tod 2. They are absolutely terrific with the kids, just love 'em and care for them and really nurture them. Our daughter learned so much, including good manners :) They really are amazing! It meant so much to us that our daughter was happy and wouldn't want to leave in the evening and was so excited to go to school every morning. All the staff are just great with the kids and you know your child s in good hands. ...read more

Basically same experience as above post. The teachers are dishonest, defensive, and show a lack of professionalism. It is a very uncomfortable experience to try to bring issues up with the directors. On more than one occasion the receptionist was left to watch the infants. The executive director was "watching" the infants and doing paper work at the same time. My daughter has come home with scratches from other children as well as bruises. The environment is unclean and my daughter has come home with illness more than once. The place is highly over priced for the type of care that is provided. Run from this place! ...read more

M. Obama and Mommies Helping Mommies Join together for Colorado

Mommies Helping Mommies, LLC joins First Lady Michelle Obama&"Let's Move.gov" for Colorado   DENVER, Colorado (June 9, 2010) - Helping parents make healthy family choices is only one of the summer goals of Mommies Helping Mommies, LLC, (www.mommieshelpingmommies.net) and a nanny placement agency that is currently one of the fastest growing businesses in Colorado. When children are not at school during the summer, parents and caregivers continue to play a key role in making healthy choices for children because the earliest decisions regarding food and physical activity occur in the home. Michelle Obama supports thewww.letsmove.govcampaign to help families make healthy living easier. With greater understanding and opportunities for good nutrition and physical activity, everyone can take simple steps so busy families can live healthier lives.   Heather Lowrance, owner of Mommies Helping Mommies, announced, "Parents are choosing more responsible options to care for their children. Many of our clients will ask for healthy solutions and this program certainly highlights the major guidelines for all of us to follow. Among the helpful tools and information our families and nannies prefer are: Continued progress on the consumer friendly front-of-package labeling; knowing how to calculate a Body Mass Index; and using teaching, and learning the MyPyramid.gov to follow Dietary Guidelines. Keeping children active and healthy are high priorities for our staff. You can't rely on that to happen, unless you have a responsible nanny that is accessible, affordable and dependable."   A popular choice for families is the Mommies Helping Mommies "Summer Nanny Program" which is designed for children of all ages while they are out of school. Nanny service includes more than 10 hours per week, and referral specialists will create a specific placement plan at no additional charge to fit each family's requirements. In addition, the Lifetime Membership best fits those families who are seeking the use of childcare services at least once per week. For a low, one time fee, families are able to work with experienced nannies and sitters at a much lower fee than a daily membership program. A "Lifetime Membership Program" also enables clients to have a much better chance of working with the same nanny for each of your requested dates. Information about the programs is available athttp://www.mommieshelpingmommies.net.   "We want to make the world a better place where everyone can receive the level of support they need to enable them to be the parents and people they wish and know they can be," Lowrance continued, "By joining the www.letsmove.gov campaign, providing discounts to dance classes, music classes and activities only offered to clients of Mommies Helping Mommies and by many partnering companies; as well as contributing 5% of our gross income goes to local charities and families in need, we believe that we can make a difference in Colorado."   Released in February of this year, the 2009 Colorado Health Report Card released by the Colorado Health Foundation, documents that Colorado continues to fall behind in important areas affecting children's health. The overall grade for Healthy Children dropped from a C- in 2008 to a rating of D+ in 2009. Among the indicators for this life stage, the most dramatic drop was in childhood obesity where the state fell from third in the nation to twenty-third. To read the Report Card and expanded information on each health indicator in Understanding the Numbers please visit http://www.coloradohealthreportcard.org/.     For over 15 years, Mommies Helping Mommies provides experience and expertise for childcare services. The agency maintains a 98% successful placement rate for our long-term nanny placements and unmatched customer service, responsiveness and convenience for families with specific needs. There is no minimum number of hours needed to use our service and flat placement fees are reviewed so our clients know exactly what a personalized placement will cost. This agency will conduct a personal and customized recruiting plan for every placement and 98% of candidates are screened BEFORE client interview, saving clients valuable time. All clients benefit from a replacement guarantee, including after-hours on call services with free temporary and emergency care for long term and short term placements when your nanny is ill or on vacation. This saves you valuable time! Our agency maintains a high quality staff and offers an exclusive Nanny Professional Development Program. This program includes initial and continuing education for nannies, and includes placement scholarship opportunities for continuing their education. No other agency will offer this to their nannies. A Comprehensive Employer Handbook is provided to all clients with valuable information on creating a great, long lasting relationship with your new household employee.  There is No cancellation penalty for finding a nanny through other means. Mommies Helping Mommies is a locally owned and operated agency and is an active member of the International Nanny Association (INA) and The Association of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA).    Mommies Helping Mommies provides services to meet every family's need: Nannies, Baby Sitters, and Newborn Specialists, Parent's Helpers, Personal Chefs, Errand Services, Children's Party Packages. All staff members have passed many background checks and an extensive screening process.    For Additional Information/Contacts Mommies Helping Mommies Nannies and Domestics, LLC   Open 7 days per week 7am-7pm PO Box 706 After Hours On-Call Service Lafayette, CO 80026 Office: 1-877-617-7690 ext 1 Heather Lowrance, Owner&PresidentDirect: (303) 808-2865 heather@mommieshelpingmommies.net Fax: (303) 284-7825 Kim Harp, Corporate Marketing  http://www.mommieshelpingmommies.net Kim.Harp@mommieshelpingmommies.net    ...read more
