A month before my wedding I decided to somehow find someone to make custom cufflinks for my husband-to-be of his fraternity shield. I was referred to the Whittier Jewelry Mart and after speaking to Alberto on the phone (because I Iive over a thousand miles away ) I decided to take a chance and have Alberto hand carve the sterling silver cufflinks featuring the Lancer shield. Alberto finished them in about a week, and then courteously had them shipped overnight to make sure I got them in time for my rehearsal dinner. They were gorgeous, and will be treasured for the rest of our lives! Thanks to Alberto's ability as a jeweler, as well as his customer service and fair dealings, we now have a family heirloom to celebrate our marriage! Bonita bonita!! I recently inherited my grandmother's Rolex and it needed significant repairs. After contacting Rolex itself and other Rolex repair shops about the price to repair the watch, I nearly fainted! You would think that given the state of the economy, people would lower their prices, but that was definitely not the case. I was about to give up my search when I came across Whittier Jewelry Mart. I decided to stop by, and thank God I did! Not only did Alberto give me the best price, but he had it done for me within the week-whereas every other store said it would take between 1-2 months. I had previously gone to a few different jewelers to have my Rolex repaired, but either they couldn't do it or wanted to charge way too much.
