A truly horrible experience. We sold our home in Citrus Heights and needed various items removed including a fridge which had a plumbed in ice maker (which was not working and we'd turned off the water to it). We told them what was to be picked up but they sent their guys out without tools to disconnect the fridge - we had to ask our neighbors for tools as ours were already packed. They were extremely rough while disconnecting the pipe. After disconnection there was no leak. We finished cleaning and left the home. When the new owners began moving in 2 days later the kitchen and garage were awash. The spigot had turned on during that time. While we never saw it turn on, I think there's little doubt their treatment of it caused this issue. We spoke to various people at 1800 and got all manner of assurances that the issue would be dealt with (about $4000 worth of damage repair issues that is!). Despite a lawyer's letter, emails and phonecalls, 1800 Got Junk constantly avoided engaging with us. Check out their stellar C+ rating on BBB - even a brand new business gets an A-. go.bbb.org/2CjDv4v - avoidance seems their way of dealing with issues. Also look on Yelp - same thing there. I finally got hold of the GM for Greater Sacramento Area & Sacramento Northeast today - Triston Hopson - after 3-4 attempts to reach him by phone and another by email. I'm pretty frustrated by their tactics by now and told him that they've mucked me round for over 2 months. Rather than being apologetic, he attacks me, claiming that I'm mucking them around with this claim! Seriously? This franchise should be avoided at all costs. Read the reviews. Yep, there are some good ones, but there are really bad ones too. And a BBB rating of C+? That should send alarm bells ringing. ...read more

We picked a Mendoza wine tour for celebrating our first wedding anniversary, and handed over the entire responsibility to Tango Tours. They customized the tour for us, and it was beautifully planned and managed. We stayed right at the center of the wine country, and most of the popular wineries were nearby. The meals were delicious, and included scrumptious local cuisines. We were also served wine with the meals, which was amazing. Our Sonoma Valley wine vacation couldn’t have been more perfect. What I liked the most about Tango Tours was its transparency. There were no hidden costs and we knew from the beginning how much we are going to shell out for the trip. Secondly, there was no unnecessary delay and our tour guide was very punctual. I don’t usually write reviews, but there’s a first time for everything. Carried away by all the sweet talk from the guy at the local locksmith shop, I was coerced into buying a brand new smart lock. Within ten minutes, Dave was over at my place scrutinizing the lock. When he found that I’d paid $200, he told me that the lock wasn’t even worth $20. After I had my purse stolen - with wallet and keys inside - I was dreading having to call around and figure out a locksmith to come and replace my locks. Nobody's perfect, but the key is to acknowledge mistakes and do something to make it right. There was a mix-up in the day of my appointment for a new lock, so Danny came that evening instead of the morning and gave me 50% off. He also told me the lock mechanism itself was perfectly solid and that rather than an extra lock, I only needed a new cylinder for security. That goes to show how honest he is because it meant it was cheaper for me and less money in his pockets. To add to all that, Danny is a super nice guy and was even great with my barky dog.
