I would NOT recommend adopting a kitten from Community Concern for Cats. I went to find my mother a kitten on 5/31 to CC4C site adoption in Lafayette. We were treated rudely and turned away after only a few minutes. We wanted to adopt one kitten. We were told we could only adopt TWO kittens and NOT one. The woman was rude and told us to go somewhere else to find a cat. We had called in advanced and were not told we could adopt one kitten. Apparently ,they make up rules as they go along and judge people on the spot. These small adoption organizations tend to be a bit fanatic in their handling of the animals and are very strict with who they will and will not allow to adopt one fo their animals.
