How does it get any better than that? Jamie Wyllie is friendly, professional, and KNOWLEDGABLE about skincare. The Damage Caused by Hot Tools
I do not support the use of hot tools, but by no means totally condone it. It has been my experience when I trained in London for three years that not a single stylist used these tools. Occasionally they were brought out for special occasions such as weddings and other events. My clients of eighteen years in Africa also did not require these tools. When I arrived to California six years ago I was shocked to find a vast amount of people with thin, brittle, dry and aging hair. Even more surprised to find people spending an average of twenty minutes or more on home styling. I gradually converted many strong believers on the joys of letting go of their curling /flat irons. An average of 90% of these clients have nursed their hair back to lustrous health. In addition, they spend less than ten minutes (or none at all) in styling their hair with no effort required. Not only do they look like they have just stepped out of the salon, but also seem to get endless compliments on their hair. These clients go longer between haircuts; their salon hair color lasts longer and still appears vibrant after 6 weeks. As I always say: If you wouldn't put 400 degrees fahrenheit on your skin, why put that amount of heat on your hair? Remember hair is a lot more fragile.
