We grew up in cities where every time we went out, we didn't know if we would comeback home alive; but thank God for allowing us a chance to be here in the U.S. Getting here and adopting to change was hard. Seeing my mother work and my Father having to start over was tough; we didn't even speak English and it was really hard having to start over again. My Father always being an Opportunist perused becoming a general contractor; took his test and pursued his career putting his skills and professionalism through the test and got hired at a Job doing handyman work. He met company expectations and knowing my Father always working to become better. Learn the language and took a stand to fight here in the U.S.. We fear many times wanting to go back; but Thank God we didn't. I've been the black ship of the family of 4 kids, not even being able to graduate high school. I met a girl at 17 and got her pregnant which of course now is my previous wife with 4 beautiful children. I started working with my Dad at a young age. My Father use to take me to do weekend Jobs such as: Painting, Drywall, Stucco work, Electrical work and Plumbing, so from all those things that he taught me how to do, I decided to pursue plumbing and took a short course that I couldn't even finish because I always kept on looking for bigger and better opportunities. Well one day my Mother calls me to let me know about what my two older brothers were doing, and asked her what are they doing? So she tells me! Be careful they are in the pyramid business selling insurance getting every one believing that they are going to become Millionaires, so that kept me close minded not wanting to listen to them. To make a long story short! They both kept trying to meet with me, until finally I said OK, come to the house and share what you got, and I thought that would be the end of it. But 2 weeks later they call me back to invite me to a meeting, and I told them if that would be the last time they would bugged me if I came, and they said they would! So I went, and I am Glad I did. Because ever since they brought me to that meeting, my life has never been the same again. That night at that meeting I heard a success story of a truck driver and impacted me forever, I thought opportunities like this didn't exist and that I would never have a chance to do great things in my life! I joined the business and learn from professionals, things I thought I could never do! I learn how to sale and recruit people to the business. Learning communication skills was very different then plumbing, because plumbing was physical work and selling and recruiting was communicating work, and the biggest fear of mine was to get rejected and to make a bunch of mistakes, which I didn't know that they would praise you every time you made the attempt and learn from experiences like that in what to say, and what not to say. They taught me how to ask questions and how to close the sale and recruit people. I started working with them back in 1994 and made my first $100,000 an income 5 years in to the business. Most people would of probably quit and go home, but I didn't. I work harder and never missed meetings and events!! So in 2004 I experience something that I thought I would never experience which was Loosing everything I've had. Wife, business, health in a very short time, from Making $20,000 a month to making almost nothing and it all happen in 2004. I've lost hope and everything money can buy. It took me 4 years to find my self, I've tried a few other business ventures, but didn't feel like they were a perfect fit in my life, so researching in the internet I found the perfect Business, the Opportunity that I was looking for; (FES) which stands for: Financial Education Services.
