I'm sure the above reviewer is a friend of someone in the company. Permit Place is a scam, they are unethical liars. I hired them to find a CUP for a business I am buying. They came back with a report that states they could not find a CUP and I would have to apply for a new one, a service Permit Place was more than happy to provide for me.\t\n\t\nI visited Department of Building and Safety to see for myself, and lo and behold, I found a CUP. Not only that, LADBS signed off on a cafe/entertainment permit for me. Something Permit Place said they could get for me, but it would take a year.\t\n\t\nWhen I confronted the CEO, she said "Oh, it just depends on who you get at zoning". Really? Apparently Permit Place only tried one person and gave up. Then their financial manger said that Permit Place talked to the Sr Planner to find a CUP and he couldn't find one. Obviously a lie. One of the clerks at zoning can find a CUP, but the Sr Planner can't? \t\n\t\nThen the CEO said that they've been in business 17 years and know what they are doing. Really? After 17 years Permit Place still doesn't have a relationship with LADBS and can't find a CUP, but I can just walk in with no experience and get it in an hour? \t\n\t\nTake your money elsewhere.
