Welcome to the first of many posts I pIan to write. I am Brandon, the owner of Little's Tree Works. I started my business about 3 years ago as a landscaping/lawn care business and gradually shifted my work to a tree servicing business. I majored in horticulture and enjoy all aspects of plant/tree/landscaping work. Most of my work is in the tree removal, trimming, pruning area's. I do a lot of tree climbing and find it fun and rewarding to remove those dangerous, troublesome trees. It was a chilly weekend with the temps. dropping below freezing over night. Perfect for that annual Redding Christmas Parade. It was a very nice event with lots of colors and lights. All the beautiful floats that everyone worked so hard on and did a wonderful job creating. The streets were so packed with people that we decided to leave a little early and check out the light display about a block away. It was set up in a newly remodeled part of town and what an amazing job they did! During our brisk walk back to our family truckster (Suburban), we passed a beautiful large Orange tree growing next to a local business. It's funny that I probably drove by this tree a hundred times in the last 10 years and never noticed it. The tree must have been at least 30 years old and loaded with a ton of large, sweet, ripe, citrus fruit. Any fruit that could have been reached from the ground was already taken. I couldn't help myself. I climbed right up the trunk and into a few of the large branches forking out into the foliage. I dropped a couple dozen of these beauties to the kids and we packed them home.
