San Lorenzo is a census-designated place (CDP) in Alameda County of California. It is located on the Mexican land of Rancho San Lorenzo. It is known for the first post office that was opened here in 1854. Major attractions include San Lorenzo Branch Alameda County Library, Monarch Bay Golf Club and San Lorenzo Park Community Center. Among the biggest companies in San Lorenzo are San Lorenzo Mobil, and San Lorenzo Glass Door Lock Company Inc. The biggest schools here are Bohannon Middle School and Edendale Middle School.
