I sent my son along with his friends to China with Sino a few times. They all had a great time. Sino did so much for us to minimize their cultural shock and I feel I owe them something if I don't say anything good for them. If you have not been to China and plan to go, I would definitely recommend Sino. My son did not speak much Chinese, however, after joining the camp, he actually is willing to learn the language by himself. I think Sino did a pretty good job motivating him. We know the sanitary standards of other countries may not be comparable to home, and don’t expect a lot from school dormitories. That said, my daughter’s room was run with roaches. She and her roommate bought traps to lay all around the room, but then there were dead roaches lying around. Both girls and most campers got sick from the meals, but luckily brought medicine from home and enough money to purchase their own food from street vendors and local eateries. At night, the doors were chained and locked – from the outside! The children were locked inside, with no way out if there was a fire or emergency, unless someone (who?) unchained the doors. When picking your child’s camp, you really have to be so careful. I thought I did the research finding a good camp, but the unexpected shocked me that such a camp is allowed to exist. Do not use this company, I was charged $740.00 for a $74.00 shuttle fee and months later, I am still fighting with this shuttle company to credit my account. The Manager was rude and uncooporative in helping me getting the credit back to my account. I was never sent a receipt and when I asked the Manager to mail me a receipt he refused to issue one,. During our conversation on the phone when I asked him to help me, he told me between the line that it was my problem and he hung up on me. fighting this dispute has taken a lot of my time, i do not wish it on anybody. ...read more

Not sure what your motive is but ... sorry to say, there has not been a single issue that we have not resolved with our existing passengers and it is our promise to all our customers to give them the best service we can. All said and done, we are only agents that sell travel and not the airline. If there has been any schedule changes on your itinerary, if we as a travel agency did not hlep you, you always always have the airline(whose product you have purchased) to help you. I am the one who originally posted this story... Can you freakin believe it... they said they will deduct the money because of their middle man but on the top of that after 4-5 long months we havnt received the credit, like nothing... when we call them they say its been sent to our accounting department but helloooooo doesnt seem to reflect on my credit card. I am waiting for few more days before I really go legal against these guys... I believe owner name is Monika or something.... I think going legal is the only way to fix this kind of incidents from happening.. Once again name is MERCURY TRAVEL... PLEASE AVOID purchasing any tickets from them...
