What a jewel! When I started looking at senior housing in Silicon Valley, I was surprised to find this place. This type of senior housing is much better than some assisted living referrals I received. It is a board and care home near Santanna Row in the area of San Jose by the Campbell, CA border. I learned that, as a residential care for elderly (RCFE) facility, it is licensed to state standards for California assisted living. Mom loves it here but sadly, her health is deteriorating. I'm so glad we found this place and so is mom. Even though she has Alzheimer's dementia, she still remembers me. And the staff has helped her control her diabetes, which is more than I expected for a San Jose assisted living / board and care facility. We’ll soon place my mom on hospice so she’ll live out her final days here. We placed my mother-in-law here almost two years ago. I had heard about this place from a co-worker, and everything they said is true. The staff is very loving and, even though sometimes I have a little trouble understanding them because of their accents, they are very good at communicating. My mother-in-law is hard to please, and she really surprised me when she told me how much she likes it there.
