Creative Montessori Preschool

5.0

By kittykatzp

After researching and touring the many preschools in the SF and DC area, we were overwhelmed that there are so many options at different prices. We finally decided to enroll our LO at this school. This school was one of the last ones we have toured as it is located by the beach. Although this location is somewhat out of our way, we feel very fortunate to have the support and enthusiasm from all the staff here. Our LO is learning to be so independent, a little too independent at times. This is really a hidden gem by Ocean Beach! ...read more

Newborn Care Specialists (Baby Nurses)

A Newborn Care Specialist is an infant specialist. Newborn Care Specialists have backgrounds as licensed nurses, certified nurse’s aides, doulas, nannies and paraprofessionals who have many years of experience. The focus of their job is caring for the newborn baby and assisting the new mother in her recovery. Assignments last between two weeks and six months. Newborn Care Specialists are predominately available for hire on a shift basis. Newborn Care Specialists work night shifts or day shifts. A Newborn Care Specialists can live-in on a 24-hour basis but very few work 24-hour shifts due to the physical demands and loss of sleep. Some Newborn Care Specialists specialize in the care of multiples. They are often a key figure in helping to educate new parents in the care of their new infant. Where do you staff Newborn Care Specialists and Baby Nurses? Most of our experienced staff of Newborn Care Specialists reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Many will travel and work throughout the United States. When should I engage a Newborn Care Specialist or Baby Nurse? We recommend booking your Newborn Care Specialist as soon as possible. Newborn Care Specialists will often book themselves up to 8 months in advance. Their schedules often make allowance for early or late delivery. Most will require a non-refundable retainer when they are engaged for a future assignment. ...read more

Nanny Camp June 7-11, 14-18 & August 2-6, 9-13,16-20 9am-5pm

Hello Parents! It's that time again, summer has arrived and your Natural Nannies would like to invite your children to join us for some fun in the sun! This time around we are offering 2 different types of camps, simultaneously. One camp will be structured as it has been before, with a morning field trip paired with an afternoon picnic and playground, while the other will consist of an adventure completely outdoors. The second camp will include a hike, scavenger hunt, or role-play day. Each session runs from Monday till Friday. We provide a pick-up/drop off service from 9am-10am by nanny (extra cost) or drop off at by 10am by parents at location and a pickup at 4pm or drop off by nanny to your child's home by 5pm. Email us atnannycamp@naturalnannies.comor call 415-839-5310 if you have any questions. Would you like to treat your child to the social atmosphere and bonding experiences kids gain at camp?  How about the individual care and attention of a nanny? Natural Nannies would like to invite your family to join us on our San Francisco based day camp! The nanny to child ratio ranges from 1:2 up to 1:5 based on age and how well we know the kids. During the Summer Break vacation we will be holding camp in two intervals (June 7-11, 14-18&August; 2-6, 9-13, 16-20); the following is a brief description of our plans for the second week*: CAMP 1:Monday we will start at the San Francisco Zoo, breaking for lunch and playtime at the playground. After lunch depending on the weather we will head to Ocean Beach or continue to the Children's Zoo. Tuesday we'll learn about San Francisco history at the Cable Car Museum and during a stroll through Chinatown. We'll head to the Palace of Fine Arts for lunch. After lunch the kids will either go to the Exploratorium or go bowling (extra cost). Wednesday we'll enjoy tea at the Japanese Tea Garden before we head to the California Academy of Sciences. Later that afternoon we will have playtime at the Koret Children's Playground. Thursday we start the day with Scavenger Hunt at Rossi Park some playtime and lunch. After we will make a visit to the Presidio Firehouse and then into the wonders of the Exploratorium. Friday we go to the Zeum to engage in a multimedia experience. We will then head to the Randall Museum and the Seward Street slides. CAMP 2:Monday we'll trek through the Presidio hiking the Tennessee Hollow Trail, followed by a lunch break and playtime at Julius Kahn Playground. Tuesday's theme will be animals! We will be creating puppets and characters depicting our favorite furry and not so furry friends in the Lindley Meadow of Golden Gate Park, ending the afternoon with a skit and animal dance party. Wednesday, our day to discover Golden Gate Park, while walking through the Japanese Tea Garden, the Botanical Garden, and Queen Wilhelmina's Tulip Garden as well. Thursday we'll begin our day with a Scavenger Hunt at Cayuga Park and based on our findings during our search will create monster characters and perform a mini production. Friday our adventures will be capped off with a journey hiking the California Coastal Trail in the Presidio with breath taking views of the Pacific Ocean. Lunch time will be spent on the shores of Baker Beach. Additionally, on Wednesdays we also offer an additional treat of Pizza making at Giorgio's Pizzeria, 151 Clement St. SF, Ca 94118. We will drive the children over and you are more than welcome to join the fun! Nanny Camp rates are based on Natural Nannies' Share Care rates that are offered all year for groups of 2 or more children, provided they are not siblings.  If your child brings a friend the rate will be lower and if you sign up for the full week. *Plans are subject to change with increase of number of children and/ or weather change. ...read more
