A family owned funeral home, or mortuary, will be able to help you in ways that a corporation does not.We at Featheringill Mortuary ( www.featheringillmortuary.com ) do not work on commission so we help you get what you want, not what is best for our paycheck. We also do not need 100% payment before we will help you. I know it sounds crazy, but that is how most places work. Call around to different mortuaries and see who sounds like the best fit. Make sure you are comfortable with the staff and they are nice to you on the phone. Make sure they are available to meet with you within a reasonable time frame, they have a good price for the market (City) they are in, and look at review online and suggestions from friends.
