Bottom line: Made big promises to get me to join, seemed more interested in my money than me, their coaching ultimately did not help, and coaches/trainers acted inconsistent to what they teach. Spent yesterday and today with a person having surgery. Met at the hospital yesterday morning for pre-op. Gave her reiki while she was being prepared for surgery (IV insertion, blood work, and extended wait time). During the surgery I went to the hospital chapel and in the dimmed lights, I sent her and the operating room distance reiki. Once done, I went with her to her room and continued hands-on until late afternoon. I returned this morning for 3 hours. Those who do reiki know how effective it is in a surgical situation. Those who don't are usually amazed. The nurses station was a buzz about reiki and the positive results they witnessed. The type of surgery she had usually warrants a recovery filled with episodes of pain. The nurses were surprised when she did not self-medicate as often as they were used to seeing. Swelling was down and vitals were strong. I spent extra time on her liver with the intention of it being able to process all the drugs (toxins) her body had been given (including the anesthesia). Seemed to help. She was able to take a drink and eat sooner then expected. She was very pleased with the results.
