Just have to say they make fabulous sandwiches...HOWEVER, they give out ""Buy 10 sandwiches, get the 11th sandwich FREE"" cards BUT the manager doesn't honor the cards. Believe it or not, the manager told me, ""I will not mark your card for 2 sandwiches that you bought, I will only mark the card once because 'it is per transaction'"" When I asked him why it doesn't say ""per transaction"" on the card? He said rudely, ""I tell you what, I take all the cards and throw them away and nobody can have any."" ...this made me chuckle Okay, sure throw away your sandwich cards, Mr. Clueless Manager, why would I care, I won't be spending any more of my money here. (I can't wait for a lawyer to come in for a sandwich and receive the ""Buy 10 sandwiches get the 11th free"" card at Old Town Liquor & Deli...*snicker*) The manager is lacking in customer service, business sense, and is rude. As for ALL the other employees, they are FABULOUS, courteous, friendly, and they make a great sandwich. Come on down to Old Town Liquor & Deli if you want a great sandwich and don't mind taking your chance on being served by the rude manager...ask for the sandwich card and remember, don't buy more than one sandwich when you use your card...as IT IS PER TRANSACTION not per sandwich....or have the manager ring you up for each sandwich on a new transaction. what a bonehead... ...read more
