Victory Mission is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian organization meeting the needs of our community's homeless and needy. Matthew 25:35\t\n\t\nWhile our service is providing food & clothing to the homeless and needy and showers and a place to sleep for men over 18 years of age, our emphasis is on the people's spiritual salvation and a right relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Zephaniah 3:9b\t\n\t\nAll that we are able to do is the direct result of prayer and all that we receive through donations from the community is given to the needy of our community free of charge. Philippians 4:6b\t\n\t\nIndividuals are encouraged to begin a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and to begin the life improving changes this relationship brings. Joshua 24:15\t\n\t\nMembership and participation in a Bible believing and Bible teaching church and forming friendships within the Christian community is a vital component of each man's journey who become part of our staff. Was critical of this church in the beginning, but after attending for some time now, I know that the pastor's teaching is legit. Music is great, stage is eye appealing. Not that it's required but makes for a great show for people who have never been or wanted to go to church. Preaching is truthful and not sugar coated but not harsh. You walk out feeling like you learned something for sure. The teams i.e. music, youth, etc. all help tear down the church at the end of the services and from what I hear- they come in at 8am to set it all up the day before?! Now that's what I call heart. IDK where Mark Holdren is coming from but there's gonna be hypocrites in every church- if you haven't met any it's because they're just better at hiding. I'm not into judging people, I'm into judging myself. This church is awesome- has taught me a lot and the praise and worship has taught me how to go deeper in my relationship with God. (didn't know music could do that to you eh?) ps. the church is now called Celebration Church Salinas and they have a website I think it's celebrationchurchsalinas dot cc (it wouldn't let me write a period symbol so I just wrote "dot" lol) AND they're moving to a new building soon- the Century 7 movie theater on Simas St. whoa!! ...read more
