Owen and Zennes were great for payroll support, but when I really needed them at tax time after my first corporate return went bad they failed me. I had to repeatedly ask for an appointment to review the return when I sensed something was wrong and panicked. Even after asking pointed questions about the area where the error was, Owen didn't check the work but just kept justifying it. I had to get another CPA to review it to find the $3,000 error, which was really disappointing and surprising given the good experience I'd had having BBV do my payroll and being very responsive. At the end Owen said it was their software at fault, which did not help my loss of confidence a bit. They did at least prepare an amended return to fix it. ...read more
