My son was forcibly pulled into the water by his swim lesson today. I yelled at her not to touch my son like that, that it would only increase a fear of water. I immediately apologized for yelling, but my son was 2 1/2 feet from the edge of the pool pulling backwards saying no when the young swim instructor pulled him in by his wrists. After my apology they continued the lesson by her having him pull himself along the edge for the next fifteen minutes. After the lesson I again apologized to her for yelling at her, but said that it was not ok to pull a child into the water like that and it can give them or increase a fear of water. She said she was sorry she didn't know he had a fear of water. The "swim coordinator" was right there when it happened and when I asked to speak to the manager, but said nothing.
