horrible company and when told the problems this is the WONDERFUL response I get from Todd cassell in an email after explaining many of the problems and that i will be going to ADP\t\n\t\n"Sorry to hear all this! My phone numbers have not changed since 2 1/2 years ago.\t\nWeird how this is the first I have heard of this, one would think that you would have reached out to the "slick sales man" much earlier than this considering the severity of the situation.\t\n\t\nI think ADP is your best bet, good luck. Since the new year is upon us, it will be good timing for you.\t\nJust remember, you will have a call center in the Philippines, won't have one point of contact (call center) and if you think we have been hard to deal with? We are a dream as far as customer service compared to ADP.\t\nGood luck to you! \t\nTodd" \t\n\t\nthey overcharged my 4 times in 8 months withdrew 3.2k more than was supposed to and they have a response of oops I did not see the sticky note in the file. i have had 4 different reps who all have made mistakes. they have been awful and the sales rep who thinks he is all that should lose business. I am switching to adp.\t\n\t\nyeah thanks for the Glib response Todd...YOUR customer service is FAAAANTASTICCCCC!!!!!!! yes and good luck to you too Todd!\t\n\t\nAs I have heard the company has a mean streak against people who "Leave the fold" so I expect problems with my switchover and probably a few rude reviews posted against me...but oh well...others must be warned. ...read more

Two-Year Limit No Longer Applies to Many Innocent Spouse Requests

IR-2011-80, July 25, 2011 WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service today announced that it will extend help to more innocent spouses by eliminating the two-year time limit that now applies to certain relief requests. "In recent months, it became clear to me that we need to make significant changes involving innocent spouse relief," said IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman. "This change is a dramatic step to improve our process to make it fairer for an important group of taxpayers. We know these are difficult situations for people to face, and today’s change will help innocent spouses victimized in the past, present and the future." The IRS launched a thorough review of the equitable relief provisions of the innocent spouse program earlier this year. Policy and program changes with respect to that review will become fully operational in the fall and additional guidance will be forthcoming. However, with respect to expanding the availability of equitable relief: The IRS will no longer apply the two-year limit to new equitable relief requests or requests currently being considered by the agency. A taxpayer whose equitable relief request was previously denied solely due to the two-year limit may reapply using IRS Form 8857, Request for Innocent Spouse Relief, if the collection statute of limitations for the tax years involved has not expired. Taxpayers with cases currently in suspense will be automatically afforded the new rule and should not reapply. The IRS will not apply the two-year limit in any pending litigation involving equitable relief, and where litigation is final, the agency will suspend collection action under certain circumstances. ...read more
