An opportunity can be the corner stone for success!
So many students find themselves in a bind. They are faced painful budget cuts; public and private colleges across the U.S. are raising tuition and scaling back aid.This is a double trouble for students. Times are tough! In our current economy we have a staggering unemployment rate for people ages 20 to 24, students who didn't attend college reached 20.1%. We need to encourage our students to remain in school and apply for any financial aid available to start or stay in school. Small scholarship providers are collectively reaching out to all students with free money. So where is the solution?It starts here; recognize the problem, collectively come together and make the decision to be a part of the solution, then act upon that decision and build the foundation. Our community consists of three scholarships.They are all available at this time.The awards range from $300 to $1000, depending on the scholarship. The first scholarship is a memorial scholarship in memory of my son,www.bgscholarship.com.In collaboration with others we have developed two other opportunities,www.newbeginningsholarship.comandwww.journeyscholarship.com. What we are building is a community of small scholarship providers to fill a growing financial need for students.Our goal is to reach other people and businesses that want to support students financially with other scholarships, small or large.Together we can make a difference in someone’s life and by doing so investing in our future.
