At 5:50am, once again, 2 forklifts are gunning down Cleveland Ave. heading for an orange orchard on Dufferin. WHY does Gless Ranch/Garcia Farming feel they are above the law - why do they insist on not following the rules and why do they lack respect for the residents in this area. FORKLIFTS ARE NOT TO BE USED TILL AFTER 7:00 AM. Below is a prior e-mail sent that had seemed to stop the problem, but once again, Gless Ranch ignores responsibility. GOOD MORNING, JUST FYI - AS GLESS RANCH PICKS AND LOADS ORANGES WITHIN THIS AREA/SURROUNDING AREA THEY PURPOSELY NEGLECT AND IGNORE CITY LAWS WHICH CLEARLY STATES THAT FORKLIFTS ARE NOT FARMING EQUIPMENT AND THAT THERE IS TO BE NO FORKLIFT USE BEFORE 7:00AM. ONCE AGAIN - AS OF THIS MORNING, GLESS RANCH HAS VIOLATED THIS CITY LAW, HAVING THEIR WORKERS START UP AND RUN A FORKLIFT AT IRVING AND DUFFERIN, GUNNING THE ENGINE AT 6:30AM. THE NOISE FROM THE FORKLIFT CARRIES AND IS EXTREMELY DISRUPTIVE AND LOUD - AND WE HAVE ASKED GLESS RANCH OVER AND OVER AND OVER, REPORTED IT TO THE POLICE OVER AND OVER - AND WE WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE CITY AND THE POLICE REGARDING GLESS RANCH'S CONTINUAL AND PURPOSEFUL NEGLECT AND RESPECT THE PEACE AND PRIVACY OF THOSE WHO LIVE IN THIS AREA AND THE CITY LAWS OF RIVERSIDE. YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF THIS BECAUSE THE ORANGES/CITRUS THEY ARE PICKING/LOADING CURRENTLY ARE FROM STATE GROVES - AND I NEED TO KNOW IF YOU ARE AWARE OF THEIR CONSTANT NEGLECTFUL ACTIONS, AS WELL AS WITH WHOM YOU DEAL WITH AT GLESS RANCH SO I AM ABLE TO GIVE FULL NAMES TO THE CITY, POLICE, AND EVEN MEMBERS OF STATE AGRICULTURE IF POSSIBLE/NECESSARY TO REPORT GLESS RANCH'S DISRESPECT FOR LAWS AND RESIDENTS.
