We had a very bad experience with Barnyard Computers. While the owner obviously knows a lot about computers, he will tell you he "doesn't listen to the customers since they can lead him down the wrong path." He also "Doesn't call the customer, you need to call me." As a result of his not listening or calling he: 1) reformatted a hard drive without informing us, erasing all the data and costing us hours of work, 2) installed a CD/DVD burner when I asked for only a reader, and 3) installed the wrong operating system then refused to correct it without further payment. To add insult to injury he then became extremely rude and announced he didn't want our business and to get out of his house!! No wonder - after making so many mistakes that could have been avoided by simply writing down what the customer requested, or calling. What a frustrating experience - caveat emptor! ...read more
