The folks here although overworked and I'm sure underpaid are the friendliest and most efficient bunch of people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Unresponsive doctor's are no match for these folks and they're automated refill system is a breeze. My wife and I both use this pharmacy although many of our prescriptions are refilled mail order for three months at a time. The staff goes out of their way to help, just tell them what you need. They usually have prescriptions refilled ahead of time and on some occasions they'll need a 24 hour turnaround. Not getting the grocery store reviews here for the pharmacy however? This location was an eyesore for years. Emerald Market transformed the plaza and turned a neighborhood blight into a beautiful, friendly neighborhood treasure. We support them as much as possible, to the detriment of Key Market and Whole Foods, which we also enjoy, but the convenience, quality and selection at Emerald Market are JUST RIGHT! They may not have precisely what we are looking for, but they always have something unique and interesting to make us not care! Its such a treat to have their organic vegetables a short walk away, plus their delicatessen sandwiches are extremely good, much better than any chain provides. They are easily on par with Woodside Deli or Bullpen in San Carlos. The meat department is superb, with friendly caring service, solid advice and excellent meats. Plus a more than decent selection of sensibly priced wines is there too. The personal touch of Key Market, the organics of Whole Market without the crowds. A great place to shop.
