If you want exotic model train stuff, go to a strictly model train store. For everything else, start here. This is one of the best R/C cars, trucks, airplanes, and whatever hobby you might have stores that I have ever been in! The people are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They have never tried to pressure me into a purchase. Bring in your rig, and they will make sure you get the right stuff and for a fair price (catch 'em at the right time, of the right day, and they have even installed what I bought at N/C). ...read more

Brought our kids here for a fun afternoon of painting, NOT! The owner is rude, no customer service. Never talked to us or would even look at us. Too busy on the phone. Go to Montrose, Arcadia or Glendale. For an owner I was shocked at his behavior. He also tried to charge us for more items than we actually painted. ...read more

I was blown away at the Michaels on Colorado! (I came from Orange County where ALL M's are awful.) This gem is two-story, loads of *extremely* well-stocked varietal inventory. Staff, if not all personable, at the least they are very knowledgeable. This store is 1) well lighted 2) CLEAN 3) well stocked. Parking is a nightmare.
