Really love this camp. They have the downright best counselor staff in all of Pasadena. Great activities like horseback riding, swimming, and archery. Everything is done FIRST CLASS and the price is well worth it. Give Camp Adventurewood a try --- the three Kotch kids love it! ...read more

Even though my son has only been at Happy Sunshine a few months my family and I have found lots of wonderful things about the environment. Besides the magnificent facility which is always nice and clean the most precious experience I have had at Happy Sunshine Kids is getting to know the most wonderful people ever! Originally established way back in 1947, Camp Adventurewood has an amazing 6:1 camper-to-counselor-ratio! Located in Pasadena, California, parents have the options of enrolling their children at our camp Daily, M/W/F, or Tu/Th. The summer camp is for boys and girls, ages 4-13. Camp vans can pick-up campers directly from home between 8:15 and 9:15 AM, and then drop-off campers back at home between 3:45 and 4:45 PM. Extended care available for no additional charge. In 2019, our vans will make door-to-door pick-ups in the following cities and neighborhoods: Alhambra, Altadena, Arcadia, Downtown LA, Eagle Rock, Glendale (North of 134 Freeway), Highland Park, La Cañada, La Crescenta, Los Feliz, Monrovia, Montrose , Mount Washington, Pasadena, San Gabriel, San Marino, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena, and Temple City. ...read more
