The bulbs on a lamp I bought burned out six years later and I called for replacement. A sales rep said she'd check on it and never got back to me. Two weeks later I sent an email. No response. Called again and got an obtuse sales rep who insisted they were the right bulbs. Yes, but they don't work. Sorry, they are the right bulbs. Finally called the manufacturer myself and found out the specs had changed. At first they wanted me to buy a whole new base ($70) but then a second time I called I got someone who sent me (gratis--DWR was charging $40 for two bulbs) the right bulbs. There was another email in there they also didn't answer. Finally wrote and asked to be taken off their catalog list and that's that. Beware if you buy anything that requires any kind of service. I am now especially wary of designer lighting because this is the second lamp I've bought where the specs changed and I couldn't get a part--the other time it was a fuse. ...read more
