I did business with the Beard-Williams group when they were dabbling in rental properties. I paid a refundable $450 deposit, adhered to all of the agreements in the lease, and (as acknowledged by their management) left the apartment in good condition. However, it has now been over 6-months and I have not seen one dime of this deposit. I have talked with the property manager nearly a dozen time and each time he promises that the check will be in the mail next week.
