I've been taking dance lessons at this studio since the day it opened, and it is amazing. \t\nThe place radiates positive energy. There are two dance floors, one a balcony with a little bitty view of the ocean and a great view of the action on the other dance floor below. The instructors love their work, and it shows. They can teach anyone. I started with no dance background and no self confidence, and they have taught with patience, understanding and (very important) humor. Their support and acceptance spreads to your fellow students. No one feels embarassed about trying something new. It is the safest learning environment I have ever (in my 57 years) encountered. \t\nDance is a great activity for so many reasons: exercise (I lost 10# my first year without trying! and its still off!!!) , mental challenge, movement with music- those things are true anywhere. For some reason my swim trunks always seem to be breaking one way or another...it's either the drawcord or the velcro or a rip or the pocket--you get the idea. Anyways I heard about Original Lifeguard's (now called Original Watermen) pro-grade swimwear. I stopped in and checked out their trunks.
