Spirit Airlines

I book tickets to detroit michigan and used my debit card to pay for them and a hertz rental car. When we got there even though I had already paid in full for the rental they said I had to have a major credit card. When asked what other options I had, I was told I had none. No refund, went next door and Budget also has this policy of a major credit card, but the lady was nice enough to find Enterprise would rent to us cheaper and a nicer vehicle with no reservations. Never again, will I book anything in combination with a flight. Also the desk clerk at Hertz was extremely rude, when we first approached her, I had all my luggage in tow and put my purse on the counter to find my reservations, she wasnt waiting on anyone else, actually she was filing her nails and she said "excuse me you need to step away from my counter I will be with you in a minute". I guess she gets paid for making peoples vacation memorable and doing her nails. ...read more

Friendly Cab

I don't usually write reviews, but my experience last week was TERRIBLE on all fronts and really takes the cake over all other terrible experiences with Friendly Cab. The cab driver didn't believe that my credit card would go through and asked for my personal contact information so he could "hunt me down" in case I was a fraud. On top of that, they charge $3.50 to process a credit card transaction., which in itself should be illegal, especially considering the ticket price of a cab fare from the airport.\t\n\t\nWhat kind of service is this? The driver was rude, condescending, and made my wife feel unsafe now that they know where we live. He acted like he was doing us a favor by taking us home and that because he knew where we lived, he would be able to find us again if he needed to. I would rather pay for airport parking at full price than ever use this service again. ...read more
