At Anderson Trophy, we love hearing how our customers recognize the people and events that are near and dear to them. This summer, an Anderson Trophy customer is traveling to a tiny village in Normandie where she will present an Anderson Trophy customized plaque to the town's mayor. She is recognizing the French Resistance for their selfless efforts during World War II. Our customer's father parachuted into a field near that tiny town when his plane was shot down in 1944. He was rescued by the Resistance who saved his life. Our customer says, "My siblings and I are using the plaque to thank the French for the brave, kind things they did for our father in the summer of 1944.  We owe our existence to them! I really appreciate the lovely job that Anderson did with the plaque.  It is something that I will be proud to present."
