I have seen this restaurant for a while on my drive to work...and thought it was cute how they spelled "Joynt." So my boyfriend and I took our friend out to a steak dinner on his birthday tonight....it was below average....the prices were descent, but the food wasnt. I had the 8oz chicken breast and it was breaded and had this weird seasoning in it...the Garlic mashed potatoes were very good..My boyfriend and oure friend both had steaks, and they said they were okay....in my opionion they should have been excellent since the word "steak" is in the name of they restaurant ...but what do i know?\t\nThe service was bad with only one server working the entire restaurant... the hostess had to take over some tables. \t\n ...read more

The steak was very good! It was cooked perfectly. This is a great place to go when you want a decent priced high quality steak. HOWEVER - everything else I ordered was disgusting. Even the dipping sauce for the bread was awful. My roommate did liked the garlic mashed potatoes. The service was the worst I've had in Los Angeles. The waitress (an old bleach blonde with a chip on her shoulder) had attitude from "hello". She was very inattentive. We had to repeat our order several times, and she still messed it up. She kept telling us what we wanted. The bus-boy was awsome. If he had her job, it would be a nice place to have dinner. If anything I recommend it for take out - steak and potatoes only. ...read more
