Seeing the good will that surrounds our work and so many caring faces gives EHHF hope that it will eventually be able to reach its goals. The day will come when Enlightened Helping Hand Foundation will provide housing, child care and employment to help unemployed and underemployed single parents become self-sufficient and successful in a safe and nurturing environment! Enlightened Helping Hand Foundation continues changing lives of disadvantaged single parent families, bad economy and all. Addressing individual family’s problems, running programs that provide immediate help and programs that prepare disadvantaged single parents for self-sufficiency and success require a lot of work, sweat and tears but just one happy kid with a full tummy makes all the effort worthwhile… (Read about and see pictures from August 2013 Shop EHHF’s Pantry event on Enlightened Helping Hand Foundation's blog. The need is huge and every bit of help counts! There are single parent families starving because an autistic child requires non-stop care. There are others who suffer because a child who’s a crime victim in recovery requires constant attention. There are those struggling due to unemployment, underemployment, lack of education or immigration problems. And when families suffer, CHILDREN suffer most! No matter how hard we work, Enlightened Helping Hand Foundation still isn’t doing enough: the needs still exceed our ability to help. It’s heartbreaking to know that in our beautiful Country, ill single parents can - and do! - become homeless. It is their plight that inspired us to create Safe Family Haven Fundraiser on Razoo, please support it!
