I MENT TO GIVE ONE STAR*If you are a working professional, you will be unhappy at the presidio. It is like living in college dorms. Although the apartments are nice looking, it is full of college students. Police are called frequently for noise complaints (drunk people starting parties at 3AM, loud music late at night, loud cars, drunk people running in the hallways, slammed doors, you name it), several complaints to management with out any results. I'm really looking forward to get out of here, if you are looking for a peaceful place to call home this is not it. ...read more

My husband and I were apartment hunting when I and my 8 month old caught a cold. Needless to say, that meant he had to find us a home without me joining him on the search. He visited this apartment, and really liked it mostly because of the wood floors, filled out an application and gave a check for 250.00 which was to cover 50.00 app (non-refundable) and 199.00 move in special for feb 2010 (IF approved) Unfortunately, there were some problems getting info from our bank and we ended up moving into another apartment complex(THANK GOD) all of which happened within 48 hours of my husband viewing the apartment. Even though our application was NEVER even processed, I was on with losing the 50.00 I understood it was not refundable, HOWEVER when we asked for the 200.00 back for an apartment we will NEVER live in, the girl (CARA) refused, stating it was in a clause on the BACK of the application and that the money would not be refunded. Bottom line: DO NOT rent here or any LYND CO apt. ...read more

Nice place but it sure is noisy. I had to break my lease just to get out and they wont even re locate me nor give me any discount on breaking my lease. They charge full price and they didn't tell me there wasn't gonna be no sub lease or help find someone else to move in. Railroad is real close and you can hear it at night. A lot of college parties so you'll hear arguments around 4 am. DO NOT LEASE HEREE ...read more

Must I say it again, these apartments are so loud. and the management does nothing to resolve noise issues in the complex. If you have problems here, you will need to contact the San Antonio police department because the management is not capable and not available to handle resident issues. Need to hear how horrible the management is here. Just ask a resident when you are on site. Do Not Rent Here! ...read more

The complex looks nice from the outside but from the inside it is lacking on many levels. There is a cargo train carrying rock from the quarry that runs 24/7/365 in the back of the complex. The two back buildings are 10 yards from the tracks. The management is not forth coming about this information. In addition, the apartments are noisy as there is no sound boarding and no insulation between floors. You will hear your neighbors walking, and even talking! Unbelievably cheap construction. Finally, as a tenant here, I have had little success with having my complaints addressed by the front desk. To have your concerns address, requires an elevation of anger and frustration til the manager gets involved. The rest of the front office offers a lot of lip service. Do yourself a favor, skip the aggravation and disappointment of this complex and rent elsewhere. ...read more

Worst experience ever. Bug problems, mold problems, noise problems, rude dishonest staff. Highly overpriced. Looks good at first, but you don't know what you'll be getting into. ...read more
