We stayed at The Pleasant Inn in 2005. Not only is the motel pet-friendly, but there are also two resident canines. Australian Shepherds Latte & Barkley are the motel's unofficial greeters, and dog biscuits are available in the lobby for resident canines & visitors alike. The motel is situated just one block from The Embarcadero, seating is available to sit outside your room and watch sunsets/sunrises over the bay and Morro Rock. Coffee pots are included in the rooms as well as color TVs, but there are no in-room telephones. Almost everyone carries a cell phone nowadays, so it's not a major inconvenience.
