Wonderful place to go the boarding facility is outstanding the care is one of the best I have seen. The Boarders and Trainer are over the top the best I have seen in a long time. I took a 5 year break from horses to finish college and came back this year Rhonda has helped me become a better rider than I imagined she helped me obtain a horse to lease because I can not yet afford to buy one I had only been riding for a few months before I went to my first show and we won the daily highpoint then she took me to a paint show and in tuff competition I won another highpoint. One thing I have noticed about Big Oak and Rhonda Heiner is that the horses are all happy and healthy the care they receive is outstanding and she is truly a gem of an instructor its a friendly family atmosphere that is a class act. ...read more

Okay. It isn't about the horses or the place. It's the riding instructor. Boxes are clean and you should board your horse there BUT the riding instructor, Rhonda, isn't very good. I was riding there for about 2 or 3 months and she was horrible. What she did was she let me go on my own, she taught m how to ride WRONG. I don't know what to say, she didn't teach me the basics at all. I hope no one ever rides there. ...read more
