I needed to replaced my tires yesterday and I shopped around for prices. The best quote I got was from Cory of Hansen. I own a Toyota Camry that is being serviced by Toyota Merced. They informed me 2 weeks ago that it is now due to replace my tires and gave me a quote for $1,016 for 4 tires - that's $254/tire....what????!!!!. I checked the price at Costo it was $702 - that's $175/tire ... acceptable but I needed more options. I called Cory of Hansen Tires and guess what, I got the tires for $579.00 - $144.75/tire. The tires came with a 60,000 mile warranty. I got the tires for almost half the price quoted by Toyota...imagine that??? I have other vehicles and I will definitely get all my tires from Hansen. Their honesty will make their business last for a long, long, long time. Honest business people are already rare these days. We have been costco members for years, here in Merced,CA., and in N.Y. state. I own a recent model BMW and a set of 4 Bridgestone Serenity tires from Costco of Merced. This time, on April 3rd 2012 I returned to find the car UNLOCKED sitting at the curb with my 64 GIG ipod missing from the charger in the middle console. (I have the apple receipt $439) STAY AWAY! The tire shop attendant told us (and another customer) that he was alone and THE ONLY EMPLOYEE working the tire dept that evening, but the next day the tire dept manager (Sean) said that was impossible because there were TWO employees that evening. COSTCO said from the store, and from their Chicago offices that they are NOT responsable for any damages or anything missing from cars while the cars are in their possession. I have a police report and will be fighting this, I refuse to be taken advantage of. ...read more
