I've been taking my bike to al's for over a year now and I couldn't be more satisfied. They are knowledgable, efficient, professional, and friendly. Since I have started to use Al's cycle shop my bike has never sounded or ran better.They always explain in detail any work done to or needed on my bike and their prices are very fair. I ride my 750 suzuki daily to get to and from work, and I must have no problems with anything. The atmosphere is like old friends you have known your entire life, with the coolest shop dog around. There is not enough good things to say about Al's, It's the perfect place for my motorcycle needs. I just wish they worked on cars too...then I would never need another shop for anything. i took my Vespa scooter after reading the good reviews, the girl on the phone told me not to worry and also promised me that my scooter would be fix properly. \t\n\t\nfirst of all , they used aftermarket chinese parts and they charged my insurance co for original parts. \t\n \t\nthey also charge me over 640$ in fees, i asked the owner Alex and he said " dont worry about it : the insurance co takes care of that " oh yeah ? now i have a chinese Vespa , what a nightmare ! girls beware of this shop. I stumbled upon this shop when I was in need of an oil change and back tire replacement, and recently went back when my shifter fell off. I can't say enough good things about this shop! I used to take my bike to a shop on Melrose but after spending a lot of money and never feeling like they cared about my bike or my schedule, I accidentally found Motorcycle Performance. Every time I get my bike back from their shop, they do whatever I asked them to do and then some. Like taping up my falling blinker without me asking. And my bike purrs beautifully after their work.
