In addition to our 20 large TVs, The Nickel Mine has an extensive whiskey selection. Enjoy cocktails made with our elaborate and allocated Japanese whiskies or Highwest varieties. Whats better CCTV security camera or Human Presence
HUMAN VS CCTV Companies are naturally striving to achieve the best security mix through analyzing the various options available to them. CCTV for example, has the benefit of acting as a deterrent as well as keeping a log of recorded surveillance. Yet at the same time, companies still need a human, visible deterrent that is able to intervene and prevent disorder on the ground. guardNOW endorses this philosophy and believes that a high visual presence is the best remedy. CCTV can not write an immediate report or become a live witness or even display verbal commands but all of our security officers at guardNOW are highly trained in reporting procedures and act for the pure safety of our clients. So the next time you think about CCTV, consider the advantages of a live, human with command presence protecting your assets. ...read more

How Many security Guards do I need for my event
An important question to ask is how many people have to be at an event in order for it to have security. There are no hard and fast rules because every situation is different and must be addressed in a comprehensive way. Before one decides how many people attending an event necessitates the presence of security, the following critical information is necessary: What is the nature of the event? Is the event private or open to the public? What is the venue size, setup and structure? What are the crowd numbers and size? What are the demographics of the attendees? What constraints make the venue vulnerable? Are multiple events being held in the same venue? How many guards does my event need? A good rule of thumb is having one guard for every fifty guests or two guests per one hundred guests. But to have effective security coverage, again depends on a host of other factors. If for example, the fifty people you have invited are all close friends and family and the venue is your home, you will be less inclined to increase security versus if the fifty were primarily strangers who would be milling around your home. A robust and effective security plan keeps multiple considerations in mind and then plans accordingly. It is important to have a good plan laid out so that you plan for exigencies. Even the most perfectly planned events can go awry. Suppose for example, the fifty invitees to your home are all elderly and/or require care. In such a situation you may want more guards rather than fewer. Alcohol is another important factor to consider. Will you be serving drinks or have an open bar? Will you be inviting any underage guests who might surreptitiously imbibe? Or are the guests of age and can manage alcohol. How many security guards you have for an event can come with its own freight. Depending on the mood and tenor of your party, having too many guards around might put a damper on things. But a discrete guard presence can ensure that everyone has a great time but also remains safe. That being said, even when you know people, they may over imbibe and have to be sorted out. If someone is belligerent after a few too many drinks, a strategically placed guard can get a host out of a tough scrape. Overall, the number of guards to guest ratio has to consider many factors so that a successful and safe get together can occur ...read more
