I just came from observing at this school and it was calm with seven teachers and 52 kids. Thats the ratio I am looking for my above average 3yr old. I FIRST HEARD OF THIS SCHOOL FROM DR KOM ..... WHOM BY-THE-WAY IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE DOCTORS AND SERVED IN SEVERAL LEADERSHIP ROLES. . HE TOLD ME THAT HIS KIDS AND THEIR COUSINS ALL WENT THERE AND WERE SCORING IN THE TOP 2 PERCENT ON THE STAR TESTING. I ALSO FOLLOWED HI M WITH HIS CHILDREN WHEN THEY TRANSFERRED INTO NEWCOMB. I HAVE BEEN SO PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS AND NOW WITH MY.... "MENOPAUSE BABY" ..... I PLAN TO SEND HIM THERE AS WELL. ...... YOU CAN TELL MS MICINSKI THAT YOU READ THIS BECAUSE I WAS REALLY UPSET ABOUT THE ONE REVEIW; SHE WILL GIVE YOU MY NUMBER, IF YOU WISH. THERE ARE LOTS OF PARENTS THAT HAVE BEEN WITH THE SCHOOL FOR 10 TO 12 YRS (MAYBE LONGER, CAN WE BE THAT OLD??????? ) I KNOW ALMOST ALL OF THE PARENTS THAT EVER SENT THEIR KIDS THERE AND I CAN GIVE YOU AN OBJECTIVE OPINION. You are unlikely to win a contract in the first place if you have not at least met the administrative requirements for safety plans; activity hazard analyses; hazard communication requirements; and a small mountain of other paperwork. However, having met all of these, you can still find yourself in serious trouble if you overlooked the differences between Part 1926 and EM-385 in those critical details. A contracting officer can stop your work if noncompliance with one or more of those little details is determined to be a contract 8violation, and the penalty for late completion may be $2,000 a day.
