Loma Linda, located where the area of Mound City was originally, is part of San Bernardino County, California. The city's motto is "Serving Man". Loma Linda was called one of three places in the world with the highest longevity rate by National Geographic Magazine. Also located here is the center for the Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Loma Linda University, which is a Seventh Day Adventist institution that focus's on health sciences. Students living in Loma Linda attend either the Redlands Unified School District or the Colton Unified School District. Most of the jobs in the city are in the medical, government, agricultural, manufacturing, and construction industries.
