Their service for me today was GREAT!! I went to cash an insurance check. I made a call before I went, to make sure everything would go okay. When I got there they did their jobs an did it veryyyyyyyyyy well..No hassel, right to the point. Very good service. They actually made me feel like they wanted to help me. They made me feel very welcome an comfortable. The con was the small wait period used to verify the check.. Which they told me would happen on the phone. It was only a con becuase I was excited, didnt wanna wait. =D, but it was very understandable. I give them a 12 outta 10...very recommended...... ...read more

Empowered People!

Please note, the information provided in this email contains information regarding specific legal situations. Results that the Provider Law Firm is able to obtain for members will be based on the specific facts of their case and the law that applies to them. Results may differ for other members. The Pre-Paid Legal membership helps people. We see it every day. Read below to see how having and using the PPL membership made a difference in our members' lives. Member is disabled and was receiving payments from her long term disability policy insurance carrier.  The policy required member to apply for Social Security Disability.  Member applied and was turned down but herinsurance company reduced payments to her stating that they believed member was eligible for SSDI.  The provider attorney wrote a letter arguing that the policy language required the insurance company to pay full benefits.  As a result, the insurance company restored full benefits.  Member received medical care at a hospital.  The hospital made a mistake in its billing to member's insurance company.  A portion of the claim was therefore denied.  Member discovered the error and had the hospital properly submit the bill.  Member's health plan denied the bill stating that it was not submitted within the plan's claims submission guidelines.  The provider attorney wrote a letter on member's behalf arguing that the insurance company was obligated to pay under the notice-prejudice rule.  The medical plan then paid the disputed bill.   Member applied for a loan with his credit union.  The credit union approved the loan, issued a check, but then stopped payment on the check and rescinded the loan on the stated grounds that its underwriters had made a mistake.  The member consulted with the provider firm.  The Provider Attorney wrote a letter to the credit union asserting that a unilateral mistake would not support a claim of rescission.  The credit union apologized to the member for its error and reinstated the loan.   The member sought treatment at a clinic for multiple symptoms.  A triage nurse referred her to the emergency room of the local hospital, a facility outside of member's health plan provider network.  The plan denied her claim on the grounds that the member did not have an emergency medical condition to support her out of network treatment.  The provider attorney wrote a letter to the insurance plan and the plan overturned its denial and paid the claim.   Member had an internet service contract.  The service did not meet member's expectations because of interruptions.  Member stopped paying for the service.  The company initiated collection activities which ceased after the company received a letter from the provider firm.   Member used a promotional one time internet search service and the company placed member on a monthly subscriber list and automatically charged member's account on a monthly basis.  The provider attorney wrote a letter to the company causing the company to discontinue the subscription and to refund member's money.   Member hired a company to collect on past due accounts.  The company collected monies but failed to pay the member.  The provider attorney wrote a letter to the company after which the member received monies due and owing.  Member participated in a credit repair program costing several thousand dollars.  None of the "suggestions" given to member were successful.  The provider attorney wrote a letter to the credit repair company which refunded the full price paid by member.  ------------------------------------------------------------- I love this membership program.  It's totally empowering people everyday.   ...read more
