I took my car here to get smog tested. My car failed the test, but the guy working told me I could bring the car back for a free re-test after I had some of the issues fixed. He gave me a receipt and a smog check vehicle inspection report with his notes about the car's issues. \t\n\t\nFrom what I understand in CA, you get 2 tries per one payment. After the car was fixed, I took it back about 4:30pm. I told the same guy I was back for a re-test, he looked at my smog check vehicle inspection report, asked me what I did to fix the car, then told me to come back the next day at 9am. The store hours said they were open for another hour but I guess he didn't want to smog test my car that night. There was no one else in the store so it's not as if he was crazy busy with customers all over the place. If planning to come here on Saturday, beware! The hours are publicized as 9 - 3:30 but the guy told me it is 9 - noon ONLY! \t\n\t\nI went back the next morning at 9am. He tried to make me fill out more paperwork and wanted to charge me again. Confused, I stated that I thought he said I get a free re-test?! He denied this, pointed at his sign, said it is $39.95 for a smog check, and shoved the paperwork at me again.
