Joshua Tree is an unincorporated town in rural San Bernardino County in California known for its hi-desert beauty and off-beat cultural arts scene. Major attractions include Joshua Tree National Park, which is visited by more than 1.3 million people annually. Joshua Tree is well known for being where iconic country rock musician Gram Parsons died of a drug overdose. He was later cremated by his manager at nearby Cap Rock. The Joshua Tree Retreat Center hosts numerous spiritually-related events, while Joshua Tree Lake Campground is host for the Joshua Tree Music Fest and the Joshua Tree Roots Music Festival every year.
