I received a $25 "wine aerator" for Christmas, which I had absolutely no use for. When I went to the store to return it in UNOPENED condition, I was told that I could not get a refund, even though I came with gift receipt in hand, having received it for Christmas, one day earlier. I needed nothing in the store at the time. Furthermore, they printed me a thermally printed store credit receipt, the ones that fade within a week or so in your wallet, and could not even offer me a gift card, which would last a lot longer.
