Rent A Green Box

Amazing product! Was helping my sister and her lame boyfriend move last month and these green boxes were a total lifesaver. They stack and have great carrying handles. I wish they would have ordered more for their move.. so we had to pack and move and then unpack and then bring them back to their old place.. that sucked.. but the boxes did make moving a lot easier! Bravo to rent a green box and their cool way of making a difference. ...read more

I usually don't write reviews but thought that this was such a cool idea with flawless customer service that I had to drop em a high five. I rented the 50 green box deal and when I compared it to the 90 cardboard boxes that I moved with last time.. I save $200 bucks.. then no tape to mess with and for me that's a totally huge deal. The moving company gave me a hour credit for using these rentagreenboxes and that saved me 90 bucks.. so all in.. I was packed in 4 hours, moved in 4 hours and unpacked the next day.. best move i have ever made and the company is so good at customer service.. i think they are like nordstroms of moving boxes with the in and out burger model.. just pain brilliant and would use them for every move!! ...read more

Great company on a green mission to change the way America packs and moves. They rent the really cool green boxes in a few different sizes and deliver them when you are ready to pack. I rented them for 2 weeks and they came by a few days after my 2 weeks and they were so cool not charging me the extra days. They said they are not Blockbuster and that they always float clients a few days if needed.. Then they also took some small e-waste items away for me and got it to the right place. I love this company and they are franchising now- I so wish I had the bucks to buy one.. awesome company!!! I would give them more stars and have told everyone in my building and a few of my new neighbors already used them to move! Go green with these guys and you be glad you did!! ...read more

The Benefits Of Home Staging

It is especially important in today's market to stage your home before you put it on the market. With so many homes in foreclosure or short sales, it is vital to separate your home from the competition in order to get the highest price possible and have the shortest time on the market possible.   It takes five seconds to make an impact on buyers when they walk in the door. They are already forming an opinion as they pull up to your home! Staging ensures that the impact is a good and lasting one. If you don’t impress them immediately, it is an uphill battle to regain their interest.   When you put your home on the market, it is no longer your home; it is your greatest asset. It becomes a house which is a saleable product. To achieve the highest price in the shortest time possible, a home should always be presented at its best the first time around.   A 2004 survey of Realtors®estimated that almost two-thirds of homes that had been staged sold for a price that was 10% to 20% higher than homes that had not been staged. Staged homes also usually sell faster than other homes.   The way you live in your home and the way to market and sell your home are two very different things.   Unlike redecorating, home staging focuses on the experience of the viewer. Its purpose is to make the house more marketable by creating the most appealing home to the greatest number of prospective buyers. Staging includes positioning furniture to make rooms look inviting and comfortable, which is especially important in the living areas. A staged home should be impersonal enough not to infringe on a buyer’s own sense of style.   The areas considered in staging include curb appeal, room-by-room assessment of furniture layout, color, lighting, clutter elimination, repairs and investments that may be needed for a quicker sale and higher profit.   Vacant homes are more difficult to sell. If you show a vacant house to buyers, they are often unable to visualize what the rooms would look like furnished and the rooms look smaller than they actually are.   Even if the vacant house sells, it is often for a price far below the list price.   Buyers are able to visualize the fully furnished home and decorated spaces as their home. This personal connection leads to a premium sale price. Buyers make higher offers because they have already bought a home in their mind  - they can see it as theirs and will offer a higher price to make sure it becomes theirs.   ...read more
