David, the Walnut Sheriff's station wouldn't write a crime report b/c the paroled employee is on the lam, even tho I now know his name and have located him in the parole system. Police say it's a civil matter and they know these guys are unethical. Also, they confirmed that $350 is way above what the CHP charges and thus illegal. Joe had a human moment resulting in his taped apology/confession, and promised to credit my VISA for the $350, but he never did. Thus, I've asked my bank to investigate them for fraud. Joe's mom runs the business. I can give you her #. I met with her; she's a bullshi*ter "honest Christian prayer partner. I parked on a cold rainy night with my handicap card hanging. My dog needed to go potty. I turned away, then when I looked again, a guy was putting chains on my car. I screamed but he ignored me. He couldn't take me 2 blocks to my house but said he'd drive me to an ATM. I opted to ride with him to his lot & started having flashbacks of the summer I was a victim of strong-armed robbery. I paid $345 to buy back my car plus a penalty of $5 because I used my VISA. He chose to write the lesser figure on my receipt. I guess he and his boss had a good laugh because when I called to file a complaint the boss called me a liar because I couldn't possibly have been in the truck. I told him I would call the police & he put me on hold. He came back and told me that he just discovered his driver actually was a liar and that he'd been fired. He asked me what it would take for me to forget what had happened. I never thought I'd encounter gorilla warfare in the USA. ...read more
